Meeting Wednesdays 2:15 – 3:00 PM. Starting September 4 and ending October 30th.
Location: Meeting Room
This program is part of a 9 Week long series beginning on September 4th and running every Wednesday, at this time, until October 30th. By registering for this date you are registering for the whole series.
Come learn how to run your business! We will learn about money as currency, how exchange rates work, a little about savings and finance, making a simple business plan, practicing an imaginary business, and for the grand finale…make and sell a product. The library plans to host an entrepreneur fair on October 26th where the participants and any other young entrepreneurs, can come and sell their products to the community.
While the class itself is free, you are responsible for the materials to make your own product (although it is optional). This class is best fit for ages 10-12, with an understanding of large number multiplication (or a parent on standby to help). A mature child under 10, or an interested child over 12 is welcome to join.
