These are your stories. The lessons you’ve learned along the way are uniquely yours, yet universal. Every life is different and interesting in its own way, yet we find common threads of experience that bond us. Whether the bits and pieces of your life that you collect in writing and save are to share only with family or to share with a wider reading audience, they are precious and worthy of your focused attention.
Join us as we practice the art of memoir writing. During each two-hour session for six consecutive months, we’ll look at writing samples from published memoirs, access memories through facilitator provided prompts and writing exercises, and share our work, giving soft feedback. No one else can tell us what it’s like to be you. You must do it. Come on! It will be fun. I promise.
