For nearly 30 years, Nintendo®'s The Legend of Zelda™ series has enchanted the world with its vast world, cast of characters, mysterious dungeons and mind challenging puzzles.
To help kick off our Hero-Themed Summer Reading Program you can experience the music, live in a multimedia concert of music and video.

Tickets are provided through the generosity of the Long Center, so if you win, please make every effort to attend a performance and thank them in person.

Give Your Hero Reading Confidence This Summer!
Dripping Springs Community Library’s Reading Buddy Program
Pairs 1st and 2nd grade readers with teen volunteers for fun and reading practice.
PARENTS: Please complete the Reading Buddy Request at the Dripping Springs Community Library in May.
The DSCL Reading Buddy Program begins Monday, June 15, 2015 and ends on Monday, July 27, 2015.

A Celebration of Stories! Let the Fun Begin!
A Celebration of Stories! (Part 2 of 4)
A Family Night of Stories & Fun at Your Library.
Join Mrs. Lisa and an assortment of friends as she shares books, stories, song, puppets and loads of fun!
Dripping Springs Community Library wishes to announce a change of date for the second Celebration of Stories.
Stories will have special appeal for elementary ages.
No paperwork required; registration is NOT needed.
Please join us and pass the word about the June 25 date change to other families!
Story Times on Tuesday and Friday
9:30 am on Tuesdays: Lapsit Babies & Toddlers:
Enjoy a great interactive combination of short books, fun music and movement along with snuggly “Mommy and Me” time.
10:30 am on Fridays: The Preschool set, ages 4 and up:
Great books and stories, interesting activities, songs, and an optional art/craft time. Puppets visit on some Fridays and our visiting therapy dog, Slick Willy, visits on 4th Fridays.

Read to Me gift bags
Read to Me gift bags are available for our patrons who are 6 months old and younger.
Parents may ask for a Read to Me bag when they bring their little one to visit the library.
The gift bags include a book, a Read to Me informational brochure for the parents, a library card application and a small gift.
Materials are available in English and Spanish, so come by and pick one up!
