Downloading Abode Digital Editions to your desktop computer allows you to transfer eBooks to hundreds of different eReaders. Follow these instructions to get started.
Go to www.dscl.org and click on the login graphic or link.
Use your library card and your phone number to login to the Library's Electronic Resources.
Click on the OneClickDigital logo to be authenticated and redirected to the Library's OneClickDigital site.
First-time users need to set up a OneClickDigital account. From the library’s OneClickDigital site, select "Create New Account" at the top-right.
OneClickDigital eBooks are available for download using Adobe Digital Editions. ADE is a free software used for viewing eBooks on your computer. The software is compatible with both Windows and Mac personal computers.
Authorizing your computer with an Adobe ID just needs to be done once. Creating an Adobe ID is simple and free. The program will prompt you to "Create an Adobe ID".
After making an eBook selection, click "Checkout" on the title detail page. Click on your "My Collections" tab at the top left of the website, where your currently checked out titles are listed. Click on "Download Now", for your title and the open dialog box will display. Accept the default to open with Adobe Digital Editions and click "OK". Apple Mac users, your eBook will download into your dock. Open your downloads, and accept the link to open in Adobe Digital Editions.
You can now read the eBook on your computer or transfer the title to your eReader. Just attach the eReader device to your computer and "drag and drop".
